*slaps forehead* Haven't noticed that. But I'm not bothered by the nose spike, in fact, I've developed a certain liking for it. But I've used that picture as desktop background for almost 3 months, so I got used to nose spiked green dragons!ainatan said:Yes! I asked sorry to WAR 'cause I erased the dragon's ugly nose spike.
I love the 1e cover, but I think that something like it would be a bit too hard-edged for WotC. They wouldn't use an evil idol unless it looked cartoony and they'd never put bloody corpses on the cover!Moon-Lancer said:I think its mostly Nostalgia. I don't think its a very good cover (no offense). I would take it in a second over the 4e cover though. I do very much like the logo of the wizard at the bottom right conner though.
I'd love to see them do the 4e covers!Moon-Lancer said:I would give up my first born for a cover this this good. It just reeks of Boris Vallejo and Frank Frazetta.
You know, the nose spike never really bothered me before, but now that I see the picture without it, yeah, that's much better.ainatan said:I'm sorry WAR and WOTC, but this is more of my liking.
Well, I'm a fan of those pictures themselves, but I don't think they're appropriate for D&D themselves.Moon-Lancer said:Its probably been done, but here is what I would have picked

When I think d&d i think of the 80s even though I started playing when 3.5 already came out. These are the kind of covers I want to see.
