Speaking of "First Edition" feel...

Anyone know where I can find, online, PDFs (or similar files) of the old first edition character sheets? Yes, I mean the orange ones that were class-specific and actually had a space on the back for the character's last will and testament?

No, I'm not going back to playing 1E; I just loved those sheets. :)

I believe svgames.com ought to have them, but for $5, which is kinda pricy for character sheets.

1e AD&D Accesories

Dragonsfoot.com has free 1e sheets available for download, but I doubt they are the ones you're looking for.

Hmm. Not entirely sure if the sheets for sale are the ones I'm looking for. (They don't show 'em.) And, well, to be honest, $5 for sheets I'm not going to use (at least as is) in a bit steep.

Anyone else have any suggestions of where to look?

I think the problem is as those sheets are intellectual property of WotC, there may be no free places to get 'em.

I think you're only bet would be a used game seller. Try Noble Knight Games and some others. But again, it's not free.

Yeah, I thought about that. And you may very well be right.

But then, they have free downloads of the current 3E character sheets, and those are actually usable with the current incarnation of the game.

Sigh... I'll look around at some of the used game sellers, see if any of them have the sheets for cheap, at least.

You mean these babies? They're on their way to you... :)
