With the wyrmpriest down, Miranna turned her attention to the last remaining kobold (at least for now). She could feel the pain of her own wounds sapping her strength, and tried to focus her will, but it was not easy, and her swing went awry at the last moment, parting the air own the creature's head... "Get ready to fall back," she managed to growl. "We can't take on the whole nest, but we got what we came for. Somebody grab its body, and we can get out of here as soon as we put this one down."

OOC: Booming Blade against Denwarden, +7 vs. AC= 15 (miss); roll Roll Lookup

OOC 2: Now I think we have to run, as soon as the denwarden drops. Grab the Emissary's body, grab the wyrmpriest, get out- we can regroup away from the inevitable reinforcements.

I doubt that there's any more of 'em; we've killed their boss, I reckon if he had more troops then they would have been there to back him up. I'm all for erring on the side of caution though. I think we should grab the body like you say, but wait a while at the exit to the cave and see whether more come; if they do, we can scarper.[/sblock]

The death of the loud-mouthed priest allows Cheysuli another side-step through the Feywild; she rises up out of the ground to stand over the kobold's dead body.
"Just you are left to close the gate to the underworld for your friends," she growls at the remaining lizard, "and you will be closing it from the other side!"
Chey looses another bolt of green flame at the creature, but the eldritch energy flies straight over the kobold's head and slams into the cavern wall.

Cheysuli replies to Miranna's shout; "I am all for regrouping, but there may be valuable clues here. What say we grab the corpse and be ready to run if we need to? I do not think there will be more of these vermin, and if we can destroy these caverns somehow, they may not return to pester Maoleth in the future."

"I'm in agreement with Chey, there is much we could learn in these caverns. Even if there are more Kobolds about I'm sure they will not be as challenging as these were."

Yay free actions.

ooc: Adventurers can sure cram a lot of words into six seconds. For what it's worth, you haven't heard any reinforcements approach.

"You will never defeat the master of the keep..."
the priest murmurs as he falls to the ground.

The remaining kobold desperately stabs at Miranna, but is unable to hit when her back is not turned.

You should be pretty thankful you didn't roll this poorly two or three rounds ago.

Denwarden misses Miranna. The map says she is still marked, but that is a lie.

Ok, so at this point it's pretty clear who's going to win, and it's not the chump with the scales. Unfortunately, he has good defenses and most of his hp left. Do you guys want to spend a few rounds dumping at-wills into him, or should we fast forward to the part where he's dead?[/sblock]

[sblock=Monster Info]Here's what you know:
The Emissary
AC 18 | Fort ?? | Reflex 14 | Will 15
MBA: +8 vs AC, 1d8+4, +d10 necrotic when bloodied.

Denwarden
AC 18 | Fort ?? | Reflex 16| Will 16
MBA: +7 vs AC, 1d8+1 damage, and the target is marked until the end of the Denwarden's next turn. Also, the Denwarden gets +1 to attack rolls for each kobold ally adjacent to the target.

Wyrmpriest
AC 17 | Fort 13 | Reflex 15| Will 15
MBA: +7 vs AC, 1d8 damage[/sblock]

[sblock=My Vote]
My vote is that we fast forward. Also as a random note, wouldn't he have stayed marked since I ended adjacent to him?
And when do you want us to level our characters to 2? I plan to re-spec Brenwar as a charismatic paladin rather than a strength one and wanted to go ahead and re-do his wiki page.
