This is clearly a problem.


With two of her team down, Narvala decides there is no more time for pulling punches. She points her staff at the far wall, and radiant glow appears there. She invokes the Flame's power to bind the three attackers in place, or at least slow them down -- and with that uses her covenant's power to move Cairn into the glowing wall. And then she calls on her inner reserves to invoke one more prayer, and a column of holy fire strikes the hobgoblin.

minor: Wall of Light from F1 - J1; all allies inside the wall gain +1 AC; any ally that begins their turn inside the wall gains 5 temp HP until end of next turn (which may be useless unless we can find some way of getting Cairn and Veruza up)
standard: Grasping Chains of the Justicar vs REF; hits all enemies in an area burst 2 centered on the Lizard; use Covenant of Preservation ability to move Cairn to H1
if hit - 12 damage and immobilized (save ends)
if missed - 6 damage and slowed until end of Narvala's next turn

Baern holds up Tooth in a defensive stance and takes a deep breath. He drops Claw and uses his free hand to rouse Cairn. He then tends to Veruza before picking up his weapon again. Grug! You are a weakling! I am still standing fool!

Nyar jumps and the sound of an avalanche in the next room. With a worrisome look over his shoulder, he bursts into the gladiator's room, "What is going on in here... oh, great."

The wand, now powered with the electricity from maintaining the lightning, blasts the hobgoblin, who staggers backwards.

He then focuses his power through the wand and unleashes a whirlwind of power on the lizardman, lifting the dumb brute up in the air.

"Nice job Baern!"

The Lizardman charges Nyar, but misses.


The Hobgoblin stabs Cairn in the leg and then backs away. The fire dwindles on the Hobgoblin.


"Youse not fool me dwarf. Jarasca healer goes back down, then Gurg smash youse.". Gurg smashes Veruza in the head, again knocking her out. He then concentrates his attacks on Baern, again smashing him in the face. He swings twice more, missing on the first one, but slamming Baern in the stomach with the second.
