First Post
With the last couple of seasons, I find that the seasons starts off slow and incoherent but get better as it progresses. Same for this one. The first four episodes, barring some cool scenes, were a little off.
Maybe it's because they can't rely on George's material as much as before and have less time than he did to write new things. Maybe it's the inevitable slump a lot of series go through.

Some stories I find really boring. Bronn and Jaimie's for instance. While they're an awesome couple, they're haphazard escapade is so strange.

I don't get the same dread or tension hanging in the air as in the first three seasons. Then you had a war going on and a lot of drama but now everyone's far apart from each other. Even the Whitewalkers seem a distant threat this season because we won't be following Bran.

I shouldn't complain too much. A lot of characters get good scenes and I'm always left interested in the next episode.
