D&D 5E in search of a holiday adventure

So the campaign I've been running for my kids started in Lost Mine but has since sort of ran off the tracks (in a good way), but I've been trying to pull some things together and had sort of gone no where. This thread helped me connect some dots and inspired me to do a wintery theme.

So I haven't used Thundertree in our current campaign but have been on the lookout to sort of hack it to use later. So I took to MS paint and slathered it with some white spray and Thundertree is now Winterpeak...

(This is the first time I've uploaded a picture here...hope I don't break the internet...)

I mean, it's no winter wonderland...but it should work at least enough to convey some snow. ;)

I had an idea but I don't know how practical it would be: a cross between the 12 Tasks of Hercules and the 12 Days of Christmas.

So like, the PCs have to accomplish 12 difficult tasks or else "Christmas" won't happen. Or something.

Not very fleshed out, I know.

I wrote and ran an adventure based on the 12 Labors of Hercules and it took two 4-hour sessions to get through half of them.

I should be able to post my offering tomorrow sometime this week - Vow of the Silent Knight.

I was looking for that a moment ago. Did it get copied over from the WotC forums? Were I to do twelve tasks for Christmas, I wouldn't make them as labor intensive. My Boxing Day session will probably go for about six hours.

Sounds intriguing.

iserith: So what is Vow of the Silent Knight about? Could you give us a little tease while we wait for you to finish it up?
