Anyone else received this yet? I got the notification that I could download the heroes guide with all the races, subclasses, spells, and such and had a read through last night. This morning I walked out the door and hard copy was here, I expected it towards the end of the month since I'm all the way down in NZ so it was a nice surprise.
The subclasses looked interesting, Midgard has plenty of types of magic floating around such as even high magic and clockwork magic. Cleric domains could really help flesh out a pantheon and some interesting warlocks patrons. There is also a host of barbarian, fighter, and rogue subclasses. Some of the spells looked like Kobold Press had the same idea as WotC, they each have a dragon breath spell but they look vastly different, I still need to compare them to see if they could exist together. Also, I created a spell to summon a shadow mastiff and the same spell (well, same name) showed up in the hero guide.
I haven't had a chance to look through the world book, it's pretty chunky over 400 pages, at least big enough to club a dozen baby seals to death and still be useable.
