Was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good bag. For dice, binders, markers, pens & paper and the like. I like the idea of buying something that is called a handy haversack or bag of holding cuz i like supporting those who are a part of the gamer lifestyle, doesnt have to be tho but would make paying a little more for it easier. I liked the look of the leather adventurer's bag from thinkgeek but sadly they dont sell it anymore.
Prefer something under $80.

I know offworld designs makes a "Handy haversack" and thinkgeek makes a backpack of holding but wasnt sure how good they were, anyone who has one of these, please let me know if they are any good.
doesnt have to be a gamer lifestyle bag as long as its good tho, and if this is wrong forum, sorry! dont come to this section alot.

Not sure on the Backpack of Holding, but ThinkGeek’s Bag of Holding (grey version) lives up to the name. I’ve fit my sundry effects, reading book, a couple of gaming books, my lunch, an umbrella, and a light jacket in the thing with ease. The black edition that I currently have, while still solid, definitely is less capacious.

Not sure what year it's from, but I have a red & black shoulder bag from when/shortly after GenCon moved to Indianapolis.

This is the toughest bag I've ever had.

Flap has a zip pocket almost big enough to fit a paizo AP module, 2 very roomy zippered pockets (can easily hold about 3 MTG deck boxes - the big chunky Ultra-pro ones - per pocket) with mesh Velcro outer pouches, a mesh water bottle side pocket on the right, & a slightly less useful solid side pocket on the left. Numerous smaller pockets/slots built in to hold pens, small note pads, phones etc.
Inside, the main compartment opens to about 8" & is deep enough that you can add a Subway sandwich on top of your books, close/latch the flap, & not squish the food. With about 2" to spare if you slide things all the way L/R.

I've had this thing for God knows how many years, overloaded it considerably, and it's only here in the past year/year & 1/2 that the one strap holder is beginning pull loose.

(not sure if the damage is visible enough here)

If you can find one of these, buy it.

I can corroborate this. I don't know about the backpack, but my grey canvas Bag of Holding currently has in it:

PHB, DMG, MM, DM's Screen, D&D Adventure Grid, Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide, Princes of the Apocalypse, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, a pad of graph paper, a pad of lined paper, a manila folder of character sheets and miscellaneous papers (including the Starter Set rules), my big bag of dice, my wife's five sets of dice in their boxes, pencils, pens, and markers, a small bottle of Advil...

You get the point. It weighs a frelling ton, but it holds everything. And I'm not even using the laptop compartment.
