Does anyone remember what monster book had the double bear in it? I'm pretty sure it was one of the AD&D 2e Monster Compendiums, but it might be 1e.

That's a double Llama, not a bear! Llama already has a double L, so I gues it should be Llllama!

I've played all editions and while I remember a lot of odd monsters, double bear is not one of them. It would be a truly grizzly monster though, practically unbearable.

There was never a D&D monster called a doublebear. You are hallucinating.
