Level Up (A5E) How Much Would You Pay At What Format?

ART!

Deluxe Unhuman
FWIW, I would pay $10 or maybe $20 for a pdf.

If the art and design really just knocked my socks off, I might pony up for a quality hardcover.

Not more than the core system costs for a similar format.

But quite a bit for digest sized softcovers a la Essentials.

I guessed this was more along the lines of threads where we guess which setting is coming out next since someone at Hasbro mentioned online that he recently has a trip and posted something that sounded like Smayhawk.

I asked a legitimate question to which Morrus responded more or less We Don't Know, I started this thread.

I believe your "I guessed this was more along the lines of threads where we guess..." is not appropriate.

Assuming it's a single book of roughly the same size as the PHB or OLD/NEW, then I'd be looking to get both the PDF and a hardback - I much prefer the physical book for reading, but these days find electronic versions (actually, PDFs specifically) much more useful for actual gaming.

As far price, $50 plus shipping seems about right - perhaps a little more for the bundle, but not much.

That said, my real answer to this is that it is the prerogative of those producing the product to set the price, and then I'll decide if I think it's worth it.

What I'd like is if the project offered the option to buy, as pdf, booklets for each class, with a character sheet, note space, all the class + archetype's features and spell list, if required.

Maybe as a stretch goal, but I seem to remember @Morrus saying that they do not use them much in their kickstarters, but I may be wrong.

When I asked about 2 months ago he said there would be no stretch goals. I suppose that can change.
