Wizkids have sold unpainted minis a long time - that's what the Nolzur's line is. But those do come assembled.

Moving to sprues means you have to assemble the minis yourself. And switching the material to HIPS means a harder, higher quality of plastic. So these two things taken together means they'll be like Games Workshop minis.

And that sounds awesome! Because as a reasonably experienced painter, I find the soft material of Nolzur's a real pain to work with and the assembly is hit or miss - I'd rather do it myself, to be sure it gets done right.
 

I loved Everway in the nineties, it was a very influencing game for me and still stands out as some of the best visual imagery in a game I've ever seen. Would love to back this, wish I had known about the KS sooner, could have planned accordingly (got too many other KSs being backed, not made of money, etc.) but this would ordinarily be a must-back for me.
