I kinda wish they would give some rules on PC Vistani, insofar as handling any magical powers like the Evil Eye. A feat or something like a dragonmark would be great. They don't need a race, but I'd like something.
I'll wager they do something like that in the book. The bullet point of "Explore Dark Gifts for characters that flesh out your place in the Domains of Dread" sounds an awful lot like the Feat-esque Supernatural Gifts of Theros...but spooky. I could see "being Vistani" as one of those.

Take the Magic Initiate feat with guidance and resistance as the cantrips (reskinning as if it's the cards making the target luckier or the creature affecting the target unluckier) and bane as your 1st-level spell.

I gotta say, I love the bagman monster previewed in the new Dragon+. It's such a good idea, I'm kind of shocked we didn't have it previously.

The good (?) news is that this dramatically increases the chances of my players' characters getting a bag of holding soon.
I was surprised it hadn’t come up before, too. Now that it’s been said it seems obvious. I think it’s creepier if the Bagman isn’t limited to bags of holding. They move through any bag. That ramps things up nicely.

Or maybe the party doesn't know a bag is a bag of holding until it strikes.
Or it’s not a bag of holding until a Bagman drags a kill back through it. That act is what makes it a bag of holding. Or it fills your bag of holding with bodies. You can’t retrieve something accidentally, so there’s a pile of bodies taking up all the room and you don’t discover this until you turn it inside out.
