Is it my imagination, or is this thread ever-so-slowly working its way to concluding that Elon Musk is the Great Wheel?
Great wheel of cheese perhaps. It might explain some of his fans.

Whether or not something is more realistic can be proven. If you're saying one cosmology is more realistic because it's complicated, that statement can be very easily debunked by bringing up real world cosmologies that are just as simple as/much simpler than the Great Wheel.
At this point I have to ask why it's so important that other people agree with you? Can't we just leave this as a difference of opinion?

It is explicitly being identified as a subjective judgement. Unless you think you know someone's feelings better than they do, this is not an argument that can be had.
My point is that proving it isn't their point. They're stating their personal opinion on something, and the reason they feel that way.
Their personal opinion that they tried to justify with the real world. Something being an opinion doesn't make it correct or accurate.

Why did you say that the Great Wheel felt more accurate? Have you just never heard of real world cosmologies that were simple? You could have just said "it reminds me of some real world cosmologies that I'm familiar with".

You're ignoring their question, why is it so important that others agree with you when the conversation is a subjective topic? There literally isn't a right answer and Micah has repeatedly stated their view is just their opinion and you're free to have your own.

So? Even ignoring that that opinion was explicitly called out as being personal, subjective, and didn't try and claim anything factual, so what?
If someone said "it feels more realistic that longbows use Dexterity instead of Strength in 5e" it would be valid and accurate to point out that bows actually require quite a bit of Strength in real life to use.

Why is it so important that the Planes of Salt, Dust, and Steam get included in the books? Liking something is subjective. Whether or not it should be included is more objective.
