Well, I'm happy to report that the pug now only has one leg all bandaged up... she's now a Piratedog!

Is one of your backs getting better, too...? :)

Slowly but surely.

I'm finally off the heavy dope- I was on vicadin, skelaxin, celebrix and something else I can't recall the name of for about two weeks. I was very foggy- in fact, I have to apologize, Mark; I was supposed to proofread something for you (I think) by this last weekend and totally spaced it off due to the anti-lucid state I was in. :( Now I'm only on tons of ibuprofen and I can eat again (the vicadin almost killed me with nausea, but without it I almost died from the pain; and I had to take some of my other meds with food or it got even worse... ick!)

I can pretty much walk normally now, and I'm back at work, but am far from back to normal.

Damn this getting old stuff.

Well, don't set me up with the straight lines this easily... :p

I just hope you get well soon and don't sweat the small stuff, brother. I'll hit you up for some more proofreading after things get back to normal. Just drop me or Eric (Shadeus) an Email when that happens. No apologies necessary (but thanks for it just the same). :)

Poor babies! I told my dog Sprocket about your woes, and she told me to wish both of you well. She would have logged in herself, but she's busy right now.

Yeah, yeah. I've heard the back "excuse." It sounds like laziness to me. Where's my whip?!?

Having gone through much of the same, I can tell you how bad it sucks. It hurts to do anything. So rest, get better. If the medicine doesn't work, try tequilla.

It sounds like your dog is going to recover before you will.

I feel your pain/yucky combination. TWICE I had surgery just before finals - either knocked out by the drugs or knocked out by the pain, was not a happy kahuna...

FS wants to meet maggie now! (like right now where she can get used to a pug that won't chase her.) She wanted to say hi in big form but her silly mommy couldn't figure out how to make the damn image attachment work. :(

Argo wishes to offer your dog a medium-sized stick to play with. Get better soon!!

(Oh, and Buttercup? That picture rocks!)

That stick is about five times the length of my poor lil Piratedog...

Thanks for all the well-wishing, folks; it's a long slow road, but I'm on it.

Looks like argo is living up to his name by bringing jason parts of his ship!

The funny thing is that for Argo, that is a medium sized stick! I've thrown her limbs that were as tall as me, and 4" in diameter, and she'll drag 'em in. Now that's a way to throw your back out.

Pugs are cute. Sorry, Wulf. The line between ugly and cute begins at the pug. Wouldn't own one myself, because I like a dog who can hike with me, but they are damn cute, friendly little critters.
