The Basilisk Warrior is in the character builder now and will be in the jungle Cursed Scroll, presumably alongside the final version of the ranger.@Whizbang Dustyboots @darjr has there been chatter on the complete list of new classes? The other cursed scrolls added at least 2 each, and we know the ranger is there, and monk is listed (is that actually going to be the monk?) and I assume Bard, and a Knight.
Anything else from the Discord?
You should have at least two versions of the upgrade available, apparently: The Players Guide to the Western Reaches or, alternately (or in addition to), the hardcover Cursed Scrolls. So if I wanted the Cursed Scrolls, but upgraded, this is the route to go?

Its a class for stat blocks that don't make the grade. Sort of all round dogsbody and no-account fellow. The what? lol
And, it should be noted, originally released as a sort-of but-not-entirely April Fools joke. It's not clear to me how "real" Kelsey considers it.Its a class for stat blocks that don't make the grade. Sort of all round dogsbody and no-account fellow.
One of my favorite parts of the OSR scene is the priority of usability at the table. Seemingly everything else is secondary. I absolutely love that.My favorite sentence from the KS: "You don't have to memorize lore; you'll discover it as you go."
While I appreciate all the work most authors put into their lovingly-crafted settings, I tend to glaze over while reading pages of background and timelines and trying to keep all the characters and factions straight.
What I have always loved about Kelsey's work is that I don't have to memorize anything, and barely have to prepare.
It gets used in real games, that's probably the real litmus test. Its like playing a funnel, but just for you. And, it should be noted, originally released as a sort-of but-not-entirely April Fools joke. It's not clear to me how "real" Kelsey considers it.
I wish it would seep over to 5E material. One of my favorite parts of the OSR scene is the priority of usability at the table. Seemingly everything else is secondary. I absolutely love that.
