D&D General What spells should be on the rangers list?

And I've always been a fan of the exploration, tracking, stealth, and perception side of ranger.

That seems to be a divide in the whole community: Fightery, Roguery, Druidy, or uniquely Rangery.
More like a Martial-Spellcaster divide. For several editions of D&D, the Ranger has straddled the line between being a martial class and a spellcasting class.

There are 2 sides of Martial and 2 sides of Spellcaster.

Ranger touches Warrior, Expert, Mage, and Priest.

Everyone has a different preference of proportions.

Rangers really have like no non concentration 4th lvl spells options to keep them relevant with HM.
Fire shield would be a no brainer.
Mordenkainen's Faithful Hound - a classic "Trap" spell that is themed to ranger training an animal to guard? Easy gimme.
Glyph of warding for 3rd level, another iconic "trap" spell.

Rangers should have access to all sorts of "trap" spells. It fits the class.
