I watched Kindred: The Embraced again recently. I hate that it only got 8 episodes. The last episode was probably the best one. I thought over all it was good. I think at the time folks whined that they got the clans wrong. I was still newish to Vampire: The Masquerade then. Most regular viewers wouldn't have known what little I knew about it. I do like the Brujah clan showing up in suits and ties for a street rumble. I would love to see a reboot. This time give it room to breathe. Also throw in other World of Darkness properties; werewolves, mages, hunters, wraiths. I'd like to see the wraith world visualized. See how mage's spells would work. I remember years later hearing that Buffy the Vampire Slayer debuted the next year, it's all about timing. In 1996 vampires not so hot. 1997 vampires all the rage.

Also, when I type vampire my phone suggests vampirina. It's really annoying. I know it's a new Disney show and all but I'm not talking about that. I guess enough people are though for it to be a suggestion.

Huh. If I’d been asked to guess their respective debuts, I’d have put them in the wrong order.

If you were looking at the movie, you'd be correct. The Buffy movie came out in 1992. A new series is being produced. Sarah Michelle Geller will be producing. I'm not sure yet if she'll be on screen at all. I think she could be in a mentor role for the new slayer. She'll be played by Ryan Kiera Armstrong. She was on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

Oh I know the movie came first. I was thinking about the series- as you mentioned.

Tangent- I knew someone whose kid was cast in Kindred. Don’t ask which role; I couldn’t recall if my money or my life were on the line.

Awesome.

After falling at work tonight I've decided to eat my pride and start using a walker until I can get myself right. It took 4 men to help me get up. Two lifting, one bracing, and one to move my bad leg to support me. I'm so grateful they were able to help. I felt so embarrassed. One even called me a few hours later to check on me.

Luckily nothing broke. I was feeling sore by the time I got home. Concrete doesn't have much give to it.

My appointment with the brain and spine doctor is tomorrow Monday. I figure it will take time to get the right treatment so I'm planning for the long term what I should do.
