The Influence action and how it sets DCs

Oh, that’s just a change in trigger for a set DC, similar to what they did with hiding.

The three attitudes system already existed wholecloth in 2014 and I don’t think anyone reading Dragon Delves without knowledge of the new rules would be confused about it.

I thought I had missed a whole new subsystem!

Didn't they have their focus on establishing a video game arm (and a movie arm...) a couple years back and shut them down amid a bunch of half-finished products?

With the news off programmers being laid of left, right and center lately I don't have a lot of faith in any new attempt they're about to do when it comes to computer games.

Nope, they did buy a movie studio and then sell the parts that weren't Peppa Pig. Thrive been putting a lot of money into video game studios, but no closures.

Not a huge fan of 5e, so my interests are probably niche/limited compared to others', but there are a few things I'd really like to see.

  • Dedicated psionics book. At least two actual psionic classes using the 2024 psionics rules, at least one psionic subclass for every core class (plus Artificer), more psionic feats. Tasha's/2024 psionics are one of the bright spots for this edition for me, and psionics in general are an important part of D&D for me.
  • Book of Nine Swords/Dragon Fist sort of book, but the exact opposite: no new classes or subclasses whatsoever, with all of the included content being applicable and accessible to all of the core classes and easily adapted to 3PP classes. Rules for either "low martial" (feats only) or "high martial" (all classes) campaigns, go the Path of War/Expanded Path of War (usw), route with lots of disciplines for lots of different forms of combat, including psionic/magical forms.
  • Something like Paizo's Advanced Race Guide, just a bunch of new (to 5e) non-core races, new subraces and racial feats for core races, and full core race treatment for a handful of the most common non-core races, like the setting-specific stuff and the common humanoids.
  • I'd like to see the return of Urban Arcana as a setting. It may have been published for d20 Modern but it was basically a D&D setting.

Exodus should be coming next year for example
Yeah, my big wish for next year would be for Exodus tabletop game to get a big push, and be added to DDB and other digital formats (I have bad eyes and find print books difficult). I'm bored with all this silly fantasy nonsense, and want silly sci fi nonsense instead.
