Playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles again, this time on Tactician difficulty.
It's not really more difficult so much as it simply requires a different playstyle. The key to success in Tactician is to actually use your buffs, debuffs, and CC abilities. Brute forcing with damage (especially in melee where enemies will hit you like a truck) doesn't work as well unless you really grind, likely more than you'd have the patience to grind.

Where at? My last one was getting a bomb chucked at me by the boss goblin at the windmill. Explosives are absolutely devastating at low levels, and if your party is clumped together it can be a quick trip to a party wipe.

That's a mistake you only make once early on in BG3 lmao. I recall also getting wrecked early by a firebomb or something.
Start exploring the wilderness and you see an NPC who looks even slightly fishy you start spreading out the party before chatting with them
