I've been sleeping right, so it's likely just the shock to my body with the dieting?
The respiratory viruses going around the last couple of months have been brutal. I envy you if your immune system has fought them off this winter up to this point, but still sorry if you've joined the infected crew. 😅

I'm surprised myself I dodged it this season, gotta hope I can cut it down before it fully gets ramped up, it's a busy rest of the month.

Tonight's a rest day anyway. Was 180.8 this morning.
 




Took my measurements today and meh. Down almost three pounds this week, but I suspect much of it was water as the other measurements didn't change. Maybe (?) lost a fraction of an inch at the waist, but who can say.

I've had several successful cuts in the past, but far more false starts. The first week is usually easiest in terms of dropping a few pounds without having to cut much. It's the second and third weeks where I usually flake out, so I'll be posting here pretty regularly.

Today is a bit of a cheat day having made it through the week on track. It'll be real bacon and pancakes for breakfast this morning, but I'm still going to try to stay under my maintenance calories (around 2100-2200) today. I think I'm going to go ahead and cut another 50 from my daily cals after this (down to 1850/day) and see how it goes this week.

Keep at it! I struggled mentally last night, "yeah I can go for some real food tomorrow it will be fine" but woke up at 179 and said 'no, you keep going'.

Energy isnt great, but I blame this cold. I didnt go to the gym I've ran around sourcing stuff for the plumber to replace/install on Tuesday.

After that, I've got 3 days out of town at the end of the month, I think it will be near impossible for me to be decent to be around, do all the driving and be a support over that period, if I'm on 1800 calories, but we will see. Its getting easier.

That said, I only have 1 more meal left today, and a protein shake so...we will see. :LOL:
