Took my measurements today and meh. Down almost three pounds this week, but I suspect much of it was water as the other measurements didn't change. Maybe (?) lost a fraction of an inch at the waist, but who can say.
I've had several successful cuts in the past, but far more false starts. The first week is usually easiest in terms of dropping a few pounds without having to cut much. It's the second and third weeks where I usually flake out, so I'll be posting here pretty regularly.
Today is a bit of a cheat day having made it through the week on track. It'll be real bacon and pancakes for breakfast this morning, but I'm still going to try to stay under my maintenance calories (around 2100-2200) today. I think I'm going to go ahead and cut another 50 from my daily cals after this (down to 1850/day) and see how it goes this week.
