    Natural Weapons and Reach Weapons

Yeah, I agree that it comes down to the reading of 'fight this way'. I read it as "when you are using that weapon to get one extra attack per round". Note: This is just providing my interpretation. I think I'm right, but I know you think you're right too. No disrespect intended.

    Natural Weapons and Reach Weapons

I disagree. I would allow someone to take iterative attacks with different weapons (say, an attack with a reach weapon against one foe, and an attack with a kick against another foe) without further penalties as long as they were on different iterative attacks. By the same token, both those...

    Dimension Door Clarification

What about a character with Combat Reflexes? The feat allows you to make attacks of opportunity before you have an action in combat.

    Question about Vicious Weapon Flag

Immunity to necromantic effects (from being a construct, for instance) would do it.

    A Question about Masterwork Arrows

Not quite an answer to the question. A Masterwork Composite bow (Mighty +2) with +2 arrows will have +2 to hit, +4 to damage, assuming that the character firing it has at least 14 strength.

    pick your favorite race for...

I'd like to put in my support for one of the almost-made-it races in evilbob's post: Catfolk. Catfolk rogues have the following advantages: - 40' speed, beside the obvious advantages, makes tumble, move silently, etc. more useful than usual. In a dungeon environment, once distance is...

    Help Illuminate Light

Yes, plus even if the light was bounded by the 40' radius (which it isn't, because elves get bright light for 40' and dim light for 80'), it casts light onto objects, that reflect that light. This reflected light would be visible from further away. And yeah, frankthedm is still right - it's like...

Whats a reasonable AC at 10th level?

My ECL 6 Maug (Fiend Folio) in RHoD has 29 AC. 10 -1 Size +6 Armor (Mithral Chain Shirt +2) +5 Dex +1 Deflection (Ring of Protection) +7 natural Natural armour +1 Bracers of Natural Armour = 29. By 10 he should have at least +3 more (better deflection, better NA, better DEX). We're playing...

    Oddest builds...

As a GM, I made some awakened ninja vampire apes once. They were the minions of a vampire druid, and were really intended as comic relief and a fun encounter. Then I started rolling grapple checks. Plus the whole ninja thing synergises really well with being a vampire. The oddest character I've...

Banning Fly, Improved Invisibility, Dimension Door, and Teleport

I am also behind you when it comes to cutting out core spells that are cliche, trite, or otherwise don't fit into the campaign. However, I'd like to make one comment to those who have been saying that teleportation ruins the fantasy world - read the Dragaera books by Stephen Brust (start either...

Ways to reduce Arcane Spell Failure

Githcraft / Feycraft should also do it.

    Rogue/Swordsage help.

Well, Drow Long Knives and Drow Scorpion Chain are not on the list of Shadow Hand preferred weapons, and hence wouldn't get the benefit of Shadow Blade, unless your DM has specified otherwise.

How often do you provoke an AoO on purpose?

To clear up your confusion, I'm going to quote only part of the OPs post: So you see, the "whether on purpose or not" is with regards to why the PC is spending a third or more of his combat time in melee, not why he's provoking AoOs. Well, that's how I see it. I am not the OP, so I may be wrong.

Strike of Righteous Vitality for a Warblade

No. You can still full attack when you recover. It's a swift action followed by either - A melee attack OR - A standard action used to do nothing but, say, a flourish of the weapon. A melee attack can be part of a full attack action.

    Sword&Board fighter - throwing?

It depends on what sort of action your DM says swapping hands requires. IMC, it's a free action. This means that IMC your axe-fighter with a light shield (able to hold something in the shield hand, but not use it to fight with) can swap his axe to the off hand, throw daggers, and swap back.

Are magic arms and armour overpriced?

There's also the themeful thing about magic weapons and magic armour being cheaper than other magic items - this will make PCs with low resources more likely to go for the sword and the armour than for rings and belts and gloves and and and... The magic sword and magic armour is a fantasy...

What's the game balance reason for needing a +1 weapon before enchanting further?

Then there's the popular choice of making a weapon +1 with +9 worth of special abilities and casting Greater Magic Weapon on them. If you don't have to get that first +1 to enchant things at all, this is viable from level 1 with Magic Weapon. Allow Flaming on "+0" weapons and hey presto, you...

    David-vs-Goliath tactics

There's the Tome of Battle "Wolf Climbs the Mountain" strike, that lets you enter a larger opponent's space without provoking attacks of opportunity, gain a cover bonus as long as you remain within that opponent's space, and get extra damage against that opponent.

    To Walk/Hussle while moving silently?

Yeah. This supports my point that moving your full speed and hustling should suffer the exact same penalties. Yeah. Consider a Monk, though. Say a 9th level human monk. A 9th level human monk has a movement of 60'. So half speed is 30' or less. Less than full but more than half is 35'-55'...

    Frontline Rogue?

Golemstrike = Gravestrike, but for Golems rather than Undead. And yeah, that's true about the wand not being as useful as the ring. But much cheaper!
