    Two Potential Games

Forget fear fantasy fans! (Sorry, just signed up for T&J and the superhero compulsion to alliterate is still lingering.) I'll be running The Temple of Mysteries at the nest game day. Take that, procrastination! I'm the first GM to sign up! :D

Truth & Justice: The Greatest City in America

Put me down for one, please. I'll even try to look over my copy T&J before showing up.

Weekend Warriors: Savage Worlds - Modern Horror - Slots Open

Don't worry, there's nothing fishy about it. :) It's a fairly fast system, so additional players don't slow it down that much. I can go with just four if need be, 6 is a better number, and everyone after that is just gravy. There had been concern about a lack of games, so I chose the ones that...

Weekend Warriors: Savage Worlds - Modern Horror - Slots Open

One weekend a month and two weeks out of the year. That's what they say -- but with the need for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, you've been called up for active duty stateside. Well, it could be worse, right? After all, what could possibly go wrong while guarding a remote military research...

Player signups tomorrow (Feb 15) at 7pm

Yeah, put me firmly in the procrastination camp! We should have a competition for it: Whoever posts first loses. :) But I'm really just trying to decide whether to run in the morning or afternoon. Which game do I want to play in.....

    Two Potential Games

Sigh. What good are you people if you can't come down decisively in favor of one game or the other? ;) You weren't supposed to be evenly split! And thanks for the tip, Bretbo. They're both a bit on the long side, actually (at least it depends on the group, really). Hmmm, might mean I need to...

Player signups tomorrow (Feb 15) at 7pm

I'll be listing mine tonight. And curse you, other GMs, for having cool sounding games, too! I don't know if I want to list mine as morning or afternoon since I don't know whether I'd prefer to play in one of the awesome morning or fun afternoon games.....

    Two Potential Games

Argh, it feels like I'm listening to Rush Limbaugh with all of these ditto-heads around! And, yes, you said you'd prefer Weekend Warriors, but you're just a silly wabbit! (I know I'm mangling my cartoon rabbits, but tough!) I'd have thought that, on a site created for D&D, there'd be more...

    Two Potential Games

OK, I had a great time in the SotC game madwabbit ran last time, so I figured I'd help out this time by running something. Of course, I can't really decide what to run. Since we're a bit short of games, I figure something that can take a fair number of people is good, so here are two options...

[WFRP] Campaign Arc? My players stay out please

Only 6 sessions, right? I'd suggest linking any two of the following together: Ashes of Middenheim. It seems a bit like a railroad, but it plays better than it reads and a few tweaks can certainly make the characters be on either side of the law you want. Shadows Over Bogenhafen. The first...

How do you use knowledge skills?

Interesting. MM4 actually references the PH rule and says that's how things work. They introduce the new rule that a DC 15 check can get you the type and subtype traits of the critter. So it's easy to learn the resistances of a devil, even if it is a 42 HD monstrosity. I'm glad to hear that they...

How do you use knowledge skills?

Just to be pedantic, it's a change in the rules for MM4 and Dragon Magic, but not a retroactive change or a change for home-brew monsters. I'm afraid I can't comment on MM5 since I don't have it. Those two books change the knowledge DCs for monsters listed in them, but still quote the rule of...

(Spirit Of the Century) "So Let it be Written, so Shall it be Done!"

Given how important character creation is to SotC, and how much I'd heard about it, I'm glad I got to see it in action. I certainly had fun, both by learning about the game and by playing it. As for pulp pickup, well, I'm certainly game for it. Especially if it lets me see more SotC in action. :D

(D&D 3.5) The Goblins of the Shattershtruk Hills

Thanks for letting us into the game when Shock collapsed. You did a fine job for having two additional players thrust upon you. I know I certainly did have fun, even if there were dwarves and humans in the party. Sigh, the sacrifices you sometimes have to make to combat evil.

(Spirit Of the Century) "So Let it be Written, so Shall it be Done!"

Argh! It looks even bigger online than it does in print! I'll do my best to look over it and have an idea, but I'm sure I won't have read it all. Especially since the latest Pratchett is apparently on hold at the library for me. Somehow I think that'll distract me tomorrow....

(Spirit Of the Century) "So Let it be Written, so Shall it be Done!"

Considering the amount of good things I've heard about SoC, and that I enjoy Fudge in general, please sign me up! I haven't played SoC before, but I've heard it's quite easy to pick up, especially if you're familiar with the basics of Fudge. Thanks!

    Shock: Social Science Fiction

Ooooh. I've heard a fair bit about this and would love the chance to try it out. Sign me up, please!
