Depends on the type of ship. Ships are limited in speed by their hull length. A sailboat goes about 6 knots (roughly 6mph), a big, fat merchant ship will also plod along at 6 knots or so, but a post-medieval ship designed for speed (like a Clipper) could hit 20 knots.

Well, 4.0.0 is the current "production release", which is supposedly more stable than the development release. I suppose it cant hurt to go to 4.X.X.

Thats pretty cool. Actually, I liked the big fat belly on the Two-Headed Troll. Thats more of what I imagine Orcus to be; the current Reaper Orcus has sort of a cuddly, round Ewok belly; not a grossly fat Troll belly. I wonder if there is a conversion waiting to happen there.

I saw the Manticore again today in my travels; it was a bit bigger than I remember. Probably more a 15' monster, which would make a decent figure for a 20'x20 base. (I believe 3.5E will go to a square facing system, so theres no need for 20'x10').
