Sounds like a good time to introduce some visions of "the future"--or at least a future that might be. Whatever you're planning for your campaign, just take it to the extreme and maybe give a vision or two to the players after a particular spell is cast. There doesn't have to be a game...

Hmm, that's something to think about. But the GM could easily play up potential danger with his description of the bridge.

Religion never entered into my original outline of shows. If it would be mentioned, the emphasis would not be great. Something bland like "deity in/as nature" would be best, methinks.
