    Original Creations Compilations (contributions welcome)

Thank you very much for the help, it's much appreciated. I believe that, for Breakthrough, shift was a bit different than what my intent was however. Pull, much like shift, doesn't provoke OAs and in addition it means the character must move towards the Warlord (the goal, since the Warlord is...

    White Raven Onslaught Revision

Ah! Well, given that I've known some players who would quite likely shove allies off pits just because they happened to be cross with them, perhaps it could be a worthwhile addition to add... still! Easily fixed and updated on that count: White Raven Onslaught Warlord Attack 1 You lead the way...

    White Raven Onslaught Revision

...but what might said most important revision be?

    Original Creations Compilations (contributions welcome)

Since we don't have anything official yet from Wizards, I thought I'd try to take some of what we did have and do a class write-up for the Warlord, for those looking to use it in their demo games. Some ideas shamelessly stolen from the Dragonborn Warlord Pre-Gen thread, and most taken from...

    Gnomes in 4th edition? Maybe...

Within the space of those seven months, that gnome managed to secure both a lair and a minion!

    White Raven Onslaught Revision

So after some people had mentioned that White Raven Onslaught, the Warlord 1 Daily Power was badly worded and confusing, particularly for new players, I thought I might try my hand at some revision. I hope this helps, I think it's a little bit clearer: White Raven Onslaught Warlord Attack 1...

2nd level Utility Powers So I know a lot of folks out there are presently looking to advance the demo characters up to 2nd level, and since we know from the Rogue that we get Utility Powers at that point, I thought I might come up with a few. One for each class, though I'm afraid there's only...

    Gnomes in 4th edition? Maybe...

It was mentioned on Paizo's forums by Rodney Thompson that there would be several races (I wanna guesstimate 12, I dunno if I could still find the topic) which will be made into Player races from the Monster Manual. Gnomes were confirmed as one of them, as were Gnolls.

Dungeons of Dread Prerelease this past weekend?

My guess (and sadly this seems like something we won't have more than guesses on until the books come out) is that it functions like a Sustain Minor and each round you must perform a new attack. So it will represent a kind of battle of wills in the Vampire example, with the vampire attempting to...

At will teleport and other 4th ed player fun

Perhaps limit it to Cold Forged Iron then? That generally tends to be much more obscure than normal iron. I imagine also that swords, breastplates and other such things will probably pass through things in the Feywild, but it's just my take on it.

At will teleport and other 4th ed player fun

Another great way to thwart this power (in addition to the many listed thus far by Allister) is the classic fey weakness of Iron. Iron is notoriously anathema to all things fey, and since Eladrin have that descriptor they may also share that inherent weakness - perhaps iron objects have a...

    Why the gnome must survive....

Because then they'd be gnomeless, and that's what we're rallying against!

At will teleport and other 4th ed player fun

This actually really does bring up some excellent points. With the way at-will and encounter abilities function, certain things no longer quite work like they did anymore. Also the fluff on Fey step, if I remember it correctly, is that the eladrin actually slips into the Feywild briefly and...

    Clerics can't heal (NPCs)?

I think everyone is making this a bit more complicated than it has to be... a healing surge is 1/4 of your hit points. A cleric's healing word, when used on an NPC, heals them by 1/4 of their hit points plus 1d6. Was that really so hard?

    Why the gnome must survive....

Also let us not forget the proud history of Gnomish sports heroes which would be lost if these proud fellows were cut - after all, who could forget Gnome-ar Garciaparra?

Complete Dungeons of Dread Photo Gallery

A lot of these don't even look finished... of particular note are the Goblin Picador and the Lamia who looks like she has make-up smeared over her face. A few of these are good, such as the Vampire Vizier and the Young Red Dragon, but overall colour me unimpressed.

    Classic warriors: Warlords or Fighters?

I'd just like to say I suspect Odysseus is a Rogue//Warlord multiclass, considering the amount of lying, tricking and deceiving he does. In fact in the 2nd edition books Odysseus was actually listed (If my memory is correct) under the sample historical/literary rogues. I think Agamemnon would be...

    Why the gnome must survive....

I fully support the original poster's intent and I would really encourage the community as a whole to join in; really it's time we all did our part garden gnomes! ...plus I love puns, mayhaps far too much.

    Am I going to TPK

Based on the wording of Turn Undead, this creature would be immune. A simple fix would be to change "Too Big to Move" to only include Martial Powers, this way it's not immune to divine or arcane movement. Theoretically right now, a wizard couldn't teleport it either.

    Am I going to TPK

The Colossal Skeleton is actually kind of a nice striker due to his mobility powers and capacity to knock people about. I would say that if you gave him Striker level hit points instead of Brute I imagine you could avoid a TPK (If that's what you're aimin' for). The Necromancer himself looks...
