    You betcha.

    Tieflings

I believe that outside of D&D the word is gender neutral. In D&D alu-fiends are the female counterparts to cambions.

What Blizzard Teaches Us About Games

I'd say that Slash'em is more like the everything-and-the-kitchen-sink version of Nethack. After all, the name is an acronym for "Super Lotsa Added Stuff Hack - Extended Magic". :p I'm still waiting for a new version of Nethack - it's been four years since version 3.4.3!

    Dragon Editorial: Fearless

My thoughts exactly. It often happens that I find myself nodding my head while I read these preview articles, and when I come here to see what other people think about an article I go what the... Part of the charm, I suppose. :)

WotC_PeterS: Class Names| NEW: Rouse-ist parts of PHB

I can think of dozens of literary characters who could be aptly described as warriors, but I would hesitate to call each and every one of them a fighter. Besides, which is the more evocative title, "Warrior on the Edge of Time" or "Fighter on the Edge of Time"? ;)

What classes will be in the martial power book?

I like that. One could rename psionics as a whole - perhaps "occult powers" would not feel as out of place in a fantasy setting as some people tend to think "psionics" do. It will not happen officially, since the designers have already referred to psionics as the Psi power source in multiple...

    D&D 4E Eberron and 4e - hopes and fears

I certainly hope the wonderful Eberron cosmology remains largely as it is. I think that if Planescape taught anything about setting flavor, it was that hardwiring a single cosmological view to every setting does not have many actual benefits. Given that Eberron is not supposed to undergo radical...

How I Stopped Worrying and Learned To Love Standard Plusses

However, the One Ring was an artifact of greater power than a magic ring. Nenya, Nerya and Vilya are more comparable to the magic rings in 4E - they would, supposedly, have no lesser effects if someone like Frodo were to put one on, and would only be usable by someone of sufficient power.

    Sigil is in the DMG!

Well, I've always loved the concept of ringworlds in fiction, so I would hate to see the torus shape go. :)

    Sigil is in the DMG!

Mmm. Is it necessary to be able to pinpoint Sigil's location? While there are countless numbers of doors leading in and out of the impossible city, no one may not know for certain where it is located. Perhaps the Astral Sea is a guess as good as any. Perhaps weathered sailors on the Astral Sea...

Feywild, fey as major powers in D&D: good thing?

The what now? Tolkien's elves are primarily based on the ljósálfar of Norse myths.

    Suggestions to replace Half-Elves

I think it would be better not to use terms which refer to particular types of angels. Nephilim might be a more appropriate name. You could Anglicize the name to an extent if it feels too foreign - I believe the term Nephilite is sometimes used, for example.

    D&D 4E How would you re-envision Darksun with 4e?

I agree. Obviously the city states can keep many of their unique features, but I would rather fashion each city state into an amalgam of various real world cultures rather than a direct analogy of some specific culture. A sufficiently imaginative person could even envision truly unique and alien...

    D&D 4E How would you re-envision Darksun with 4e?

This is the route I would take as well. A Primal Leader with a few Controller abilities, worships the spirit of the land. Might as well call it the Shaman.

    D&D 4E How would you re-envision Darksun with 4e?

That's really interesting - I guess I have to find the book. Although I wouldn't necessarily want to see staples like dwarves and elves removed in an official revision of Dark Sun, for the purposes of my homebrew "too alien and sci fi like" sounds great. :)

D&D 4E Ioun as part of the 4E core pantheon? What about Jack Vance?

On the other hand, his anagram is already confirmed to be a part of the 4E core pantheon.

D&D 4E My Stab at 4e Creature Types

Medium Aberrant Humanoid (Illithid) sounds a bit less forced. Would Aberrant (or perhaps even Unnatural) work as a label for a creature type?

    D&D 4E How would you re-envision Darksun with 4e?

I like Muls as well. In my hypothetical homebrew they would simply be a race of humans bred for gladitorial combat - in other words, eugenics done Dark Sun style.

    D&D 4E How would you re-envision Darksun with 4e?

I on the other hand think that Dark Sun's take on dragons is supremely evocative and a brilliant twist on the monstrous power and tyranny that legendary dragons often exhibit. However, I suppose we all have our pet peeves. For example, in my homebrewed Dark Sun I would eject all of the humanoid...

    Races and their new Stats

I'm still hoping there will be some variance to the stat bonuses - for example, dwarves gaining "only" +2 Con and a larger amount of racial abilities than elves. Dwarves are already a powerful race in 3E, and once you take away the Charisma penalty I think you would only need to increase some of...
