They lose control. The OGL was limited, but it was permissive enough to bring the 3rd party publishers to play by their rules. It was a safe harbour for both the 3PP and WotC.

There is no option for "Read Dungeon and Dragon while they are free and watch the general failure of the DDI with fascination, so I wasn't able to vote. As I will, propably, stay with 3.5 and Pathfinder most of the time, DDI won't be that useful to me.

A bit of both. I will use 4th Ed for casual lighthearted dungeoncrawl sessions, while I will stick to 3.5/Pathfinder for more complex campaigns. 4ht Ed also seems like a good way to introduce new players to the game before exposing them to the more complex 3.5 rules.

But that is not what they represent. Pure good and pure evil are represented by their neutral, uninfluenced versions. Naming lawful good as "even better" makes it sound as if chaos is evil - which it is not.

They also added the Expanded Psionics Handbook. But of over 50 Base Classes, less then 20 are open game.

Thanks for the reply. At the moment I'm actually leaning toward Madras. While the Dex Boost and other abilities of Paimon are great, an extra smite seems a bite more useful than running around and hitting people. So, for the time I will be probably staying bound to both.
