I'm not sure a newsletter would be worthwhile enough to justify the work required. Speaking for myself, even during periods when I don't have time to follow the related discussions on the messageboards, checking the news every few days doesn't take much time at all.

You can also get the article in the Dragon: Monster Ecologies compilation, and will get several other monster ecologies as well, plus some reflections back on various D&D monsters through the years. I recommend it.

I'm not sure why they bother with these videos. The images are so dark as to be worthless, and it's just more annoying to have to load, watch, and listen to a video rather than just read a short blurb that says the same thing.

Despite the misleading name, the lightning rail doesn't really run on "rails" at all, it is just a path of evenly spaced magical stones of some sort that causes the train to fly above the line.

I agree for the same reason, but if its an all d6 game I'm down with pips, or if the dice are otherwise separate from my dice pile (for example, we use a full set of numbered dice when we play D&D and other d20 games, but if we're adding action dice, we use mini-d6s with pips for them).

Mostly I just use the charts for CR,XP & EL. Less frequently, I use the magic items chapter, the pre-statted NPCs (I used to use these a lot but am presently playing published adventures so its less necessary), the community design section, and the environmental/terrain info.

Yes it's on the side street right between 7-11 and the post office. New location is larger, with books (novels etc) and cards upstairs, gaming books, boardgames, miniatures, and gaming space downstairs. They have later hours now too.
