Does this class editor allow for prestige classes that add to your existing spellcaster class levels? What about more out-there adjustments based on class (I know it's not common, but say you had a class that modified your range of vision or even one of your 6 main stats)?

Yeah, I have to agree. I gave up on PCGen a year ago (partly because of speed, and partly because of the interface "overhaul" that seemed to be making it worse), but I'm back to using it again. The deity editor was great too.
