PCGen 4.1.3: Better. Stronger. FASTER.

I just downloaded the new version of PCGen. Dear lord, they weren't kidding when they said they made it faster. The new 4.1.3 zooms compared to the old version.

If you gave up PCGen because of speed issues, I strongly suggest you try it out again. I kid you not, the new version is speedy.

Yeah, I have to agree. I gave up on PCGen a year ago (partly because of speed, and partly because of the interface "overhaul" that seemed to be making it worse), but I'm back to using it again. The deity editor was great too.

I agree, it's really fast. And they have started to internationalize it !
I'm waiting the other editors impatiently (what will be next ? Race, Classe, Feats, something else ?)

i think the next language will be french. I know there was a german plot and a spanish plot going but nothing more that i know of came of it.

Next editor? I forget what's next...Class editor would be nice..

We're pretty pleased with how the performance has improved. In scientificly monitored benchmarks, 4.1.3 is over a zillion times fater than 4.1.1!

We are adding more editors - an editor for customised items has been there for a long time (just right click on an item in the "available" table in the Inventory tab). The Deity editor was added a few releases ago. Next up are editors for spells and skills. Hopefully, those should be done in the next few releases.
