So just because one product is currently MIA, GoO is now "renowned as publishers of vaporware"? :confused: Following this logic, I think every RPG company out there would be renowned as publishers of vaporware.

I know that "Wrath of the Immortals" was an OD&D boxed set, but IIRC it was also the last OD&D product for the Known World. And considering what it did to the setting, I'd say there are some very big differences between the Known World and Mystara... especially if you happen to be an elf. ;)

Speaking as an avid OD&D player, I started posting on Eric Noah's original board after I first heard about 3E, and I've been coming here ever since. It turned out in August 2000 that I didn't care for 3E but that was no reason for me to leave... although at this point I'm pretty much a lurker!

Now, I wouldn't call Atari a fad. That company and its consoles were killed off by mismanagement. I think Nintendo has already proven that the infamous video game "bust" in the mid-Eighties had everything to do with the suits running Atari, Mattel, Magnavox, etc. at the time.

Yep, that's Mayfair Games' Role Aids supplement "Monsters of Myth and Legends II", from 1989. They did three of those I think before they closed up shop.
