i had an idea for how a bard could be a lich. I know normally only Clerics, Sorcerors, and Wizards can be liches, but i had an idea for a bardic lich too. They could be a bard who loves adventuring and wants to see the whole world, but they know they will not be able to see all of it in there...

Or if you were one of thse clerics that didnt worship a god, but just what you beleive in, then i could also understand one wanting to become a lich.

How come we never see a cleric that is a lich, in all of the books and supplements, and modules ive seen not one has a clerical lich, does anybody know why, they all seem to be Wizards. I heard that unless the deity has undeath as a domain, then the cleric will probably not become a lich.

Yes, you can qaulify for the prestige class if you take Arcane Preperation. Im not sure about the new spell thing though, you will have to work something out with your DM on that one.
