I have found that the XP tables for 3E let the players advance too fast. I would suggest changing the XP progression. I tend to give my 3E players between 75% and 50% XP for encounters and with the current progression scale they still level every other session, some have leveled twice in one...

Everyone knows teh ghey started with 2nd edition. Non-weapon proficiencies are totally teh suck. Why would anyone want a character that is proficient with something other than a weapon? edited for teh spelign

I have always felt the encumberance rules didn't quite work out. And what is with all the animal companions? Is this a dungeon or a petting zoo?

Erol Otus is my favorite, followed by Jeff Easely. Erol's stuff is so iconic and Jeff's is just beautiful fantasy art.
