Wow. Well I was told differently and thought it made some sense since Sorcerers get so many spells per day that losing one would not be that big a deal. But I also knew about the spells known not being your spell slots. So that is where the confusion came from. Thanks again.

Just need to clarify something. When a sorcerer takes levels in archmage and picks his high arcana abilities, the "Spell Slot" lost to gain the ability is from Spells Known not Spells/day correct?

I thought of that but since it is also non-WOTC (though it was created by Monte Cook - one of the designers of 3.0) I will stick with the RAW. I just would have thought that it would have stated that it was an epic weapon ability somewhere in the description of it. Anyway, thanks for the help.
