    Feats that combine class features

those kind of feats can be quite potent, and to me seemed to be about powering up multiclass choices that are thematically appropriate but crippling (i'm assuming the feat would require Rogue 3 / Bard 3 to get) i think that full sneak attack AND full bardic music is overpowered Bardic Music is...

    Reincarnate and its interpretation

well, i'm about 20 posts late on this, but my point was 'if you're determined to read paragraphs as independent sentences, you should do that across the board and not just in this one spell description'.

    Reincarnate and its interpretation

I agree with Hypersmurf et al. You cant choose to read some paragraphs as being made of entirely separate sentences (eg Reincarnate description) and others as made of dependent sentences (eg Fly description)

    Carrying Oddball Weapons

my hatchet came with a sheath that has belt loops on the back. it works quite except the handle often gets in the way when i try to sit. i bet they have the same thing for longer axes (real waraxes didnt have anime sized heads, right?). in the show 'Seirei no Moribito' all the spears have...

Please explain Flail usage (SCA / Historical)

can anyone explain how and why flails were used as a weapon what benefits they had over rigid weapons my friend says its because they negate the benefits of a shield, and i can see how theyd wrap around a shield, but i dont see why the shield user would block the chain instead of the ball are...

Harpoon: delusions of grandeur or DM nightmare

if you allow that, why couldnt you pull it out from 30ft away by pulling on the rope? you'd pull with the same force either way (unless you brace against the opponents body i guess).

What do you think of dying at level 1?

this is very unlike a friend. he agreed to help, so unless it was part of some elaborate backstab plot, he shouldnt have switched sides. i wouldnt have a problem with him retreating from overwhelming odds tho. but to switch sides is too much. talk to the player about your concerns so...

What do you think of dying at level 1?

why is the question "Did the scout do anything wrong?" instead of "Did anyone do anything wrong?"? what did you and the warlock do that precludes you from being at fault? dmccoy1693's session 0 railroad can be a very good idea, but it must be used with the viewpoint of teamwork going both...
