Howdy! I'm moving to Seoul Korea in the next week and I'll be looking to start a 4E Eberron or Dark Sun game (maybe both). I'm interested in folks who are mature and easy going. I'm focused on having a good time and telling a good story.

My two cents- I find this rule set very flexible in dealing with problems. Much more so that 3e, though not as much as AD&D. Again, that's just my experience.

One of the fighter class abilities states that when they make an Opportunity attack (basic attack bonus + wis mod) against an opponent who moves by them. If they hit it ends the opponent's movement. Seems that might have been what you were thinking of.

Personally, I think their adventures are well written and entertaining...but they're not nearly good enough to keep me playing 3.x Seems like they did leave themselves a nice little back door regarding 4E, which is probably wise. I wish them the best of luck-especially with their Organized...

I'd say it's the flavor of the class that makes it unique. They do damage, but they also do a lot of secondary effects-forced movement, penalties, etc. As to your original point- there were other classes that did at will stuff in 3.5 too- Dragonfire Adept for one.
