D&D 5E Does anyone know a good psion?

The majority of the system is based on giving the caster a few simple base effects and then further options modify those. It's kind of like how Warlocks get eldritch blast and then can take invocations that modify the blast. I find dealing with that much, much easier than having a bunch of...

D&D 5E Does anyone know a good psion?

How much info do you want to have to read through? Because it'd be easy to make a psion using Spheres of Power: Incanter with the Esper subclass and focus on talents from Mind and Telekinesis. There's also Green Ronin's Blue Rose for 5e, but that'd be buying a whole book just for the tweaks...

Alternatives to 5E (I ask for no particular reason...)

Though you can wait and hope that Shadow of the Weird Wizard comes out soon.

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

Research is hard. Just knowing how to research is hard. I'm not saying that to excuse not doing the right thing. But I can see how if you both don't want to cause offense and don't want to work yourself too hard one might choose sticking to the cultures you don't have to worry about.

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

 Ouch. I thought most of these were going to be things I couldn't catch on my own, but......ouch.

Especially if it's a good way to learn what not to do.

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

I am in complete support of this thread and all critical examinings of things from the past!

D&D 5E What do you want and not want out of future settings added to 5E?

Why do people continue to tell me this like I don't know it?

D&D 5E What do you want and not want out of future settings added to 5E?

I mean it's possible this would lead to them making something I still don't like. But I'd rather try then have to pass by another "the standard D&D line-up do stuff" setting.

Alternatives to 5E (I ask for no particular reason...)

They released a version of GURPS 4th edition specifically for doing dungeon-crawl-type fantasy: http://www.warehouse23.com/products/dungeon-fantasy-roleplaying-game Plus there's always Discworld and Girl Genius.

GURPS. Champions. Though they may both be too much for your tastes.

D&D 5E What do you want and not want out of future settings added to 5E?

Anthros, talking animals, robots, weird aliens, etc. Every setting has humans, and most fantasy settings have some kind of "these could totally be played by humans in makeup and prosthesis" — often elves and dwarves — so even if you try to do something with lots of re-imagining like Dark Sun it...

D&D 5E What do you want and not want out of future settings added to 5E?

Fewer funny-looking humans. In fact: fewer humans in general.

D&D 5E The Chronicles of Aeres, a huge new high fantasy setting for 5E, is on sale all this week

Are those videos flickering for anyone else? Because they're flickering for me, and it makes me feel not-so-good. How long's this one?

    D&D 5E What's Your Favorite 3rd Part 5E Book Of 2021?

By incorporating as many different setting ideas/premises as possible. The "anything goes" setting was why I actually bought the book: I don't play D&D 5e (excepting the possibility a GM I know runs a game in this setting).

    D&D 5E What's Your Favorite 3rd Part 5E Book Of 2021?

Tales of Arcana. 200 gonzo 5E races with a setting that incorporates all of them and more.

D&D 5E Monster Art Preview! Also, how important is art to you?

Art can be important: I bought one game solely for its art. But for that kind of response it has to be really special art. A lot of times I'd be fine with having simple black-and-white line art: I do need to know how creatures and objects look directly because I find text descriptions too...
