Firefox says EN World is an attack site?

Opera works - Although, Opera uses its own malware list, maybe. I know the browser does not download many types of malware because of coding which maybe why there is no danger from some types of scripts.

Do you think there should be a .rpg?

My heart says yes! My mind says maybe. My wallet says no. Can you imagine trying to get ICANN to vote for a .RPG TLD? I love the idea, but it would have to be a super secret plot to place gaming geeks into ICANN.

    Battlegraph Dry Erase Hex Boards

Once I get a set, I can see making a hex template to place inside the hex with a string on it for line of sight rulings. Hex Template -> String <- Hex Template I have a set for smaller hexes made from plastic. Anyways, thanks for the post. :)

WotC needs to read up on some Techdirt

Yup yup! 4e and reports aside, the only important market share that counts for Paizo is cash at the moment. Personally, I buy the PF products because they are stable as a rule set (in my opinion at least) and my neighbor plays the game. The high quality of product and actual reply to questions...

    Battlegraph Dry Erase Hex Boards

They are the perfect size for many spaceship figures, too. I can see myself picking a few of these sets up, soon. Traveller games should be interesting with them.

    Insider: Character Visualizer canceled?

Good point... For campaigns, it is virtually required to have a place where both players and the GM are able to compare notes, chat, and work out the long term details in posting format. It is true of games dating all the way back to the Conan snail mail games - logistics. The forums serve as...

In a bit of a bind

Hmm, I am a long time fan of Mutants and Masterminds and BESM. If I read the bit correctly, I would say... You could use a point based system that feeds into a Tier system. Caster(s) -> Power Pool which gives two stats. It provides the casters with a set boost in power and secondary Tier...

    WotC: Re-issue older editions.

Hmmm, I just made a post stating that I am not sure what WOTC could do to restore my faith in the company. Offering me a chance to get a print on demand copy of that boxed set might do it.

The fragmentation of the D&D community... was it inevitable?

For me, WOTC burned any good faith I had with them as a company with the 4e license terms issue. I know... No edition warriors need to take my head off, please. It is just my personal experience. I have zero interest in going back to them as a company at the moment. I would not invest money in...

3 reasons why the design team shouldn't visit ENWorld

Every admin on every board has a super secret method to filtering the content for quality, yes? From my own experience with planetadnd.com's Mass gaming site over nearly a decade worth of geekdom, I would suggest only one thing for any author trying to filter content. ~ Depend on staff to...

Ok, now i'm REALLY CONFUSED. AKA, do any of you think you know what WotC is doing?

I believe... Hmm, I believe that WOTC has to focus and find its Zen spot. Be it a penguin in an icecave or some silly old man in a wizard hat on a coastal tower in some long forgotten red coast setting, it is time for something to shake loose on the ol' gal. Hopefully, it is merely a speed bump...

Will 2011 be the last year of Wizards D&D?

I agree with the points on all levels with the addition of one thing. People live in an information age. Most people with a laptop, desktop, phone, and/or cyborg implant does a google search on 4e the moment they hit a snag. So, it is hard for a good GM to actually draw people into the game...

    Backing up the CB Classic

You should be able to use your registry tools to find the information required to run it on a clean install after backup. If you do a backup image, the registry information would be intact as well. So, you have those two options.

Fun to Read... Boring/Bad to Play

Rifts! Joking... I thought about joining the band wagon. However, the one that is really fun to read and horrible to play for myself is The Doctor Who Role Playing Game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The system is horrible in action, but the modules and rules 'read' okay.

Why Don't You Move Your Queen Every Turn?

Interesting points... I'm not exactly ready to take on Blue. However, I know most of the classic moves. So, I can't disagree with you. It is something to consider. Metroid could provide insight into the gender question, maybe? I recall when Samus Aran showed that she was female at the end of...

Why Don't You Move Your Queen Every Turn?

Yup... Also, Chess exists in multiple forms from all around the world. You can argue the date and origin, but skill determines the winner in a chess game. As such, it makes the relative scale of the powers of the pieces unimportant to the end result - win, lose, or draw. It's hard for me to...

    Mutants & Masterminds 3rd Edition

Hmmm, what was Lex and Batman doing in the 80s? The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Super Friends: The Legendary Super Powers Show - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 1983 seems to be where Lex first gets his armor with a quick wiki search. I wonder if...

    Deadlands & Earthdawn

From my own game, the original game has a lot of content in general. It's on and off in quality. The d20 version comes along and pulls the 'most' exciting content out of the older set. The Reloaded edition, Savage Worlds, seems to contain most of the good aspects of the entire run.
