    D&D General Anyone Co-DM'd a Session?

Several times, always worked out fine. Several GMs in the same world worked as well. If I co-GM something, I usually go by what the main GM has planned which makes it rather easy.

Pathfinder 1E How "grimdark" is your Golarion?

It can get pretty dark with some of the official adventures, however, unless I have a crowd in for horror, which is not often the case, we stick to general descriptions. Currently running Wrath of the Righteous, and up to know that's the darkest it has ever gone.

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

I agree and yet I don't... I worry about giving sensitivity readers too much power (I didn't know sensitivity readers existed until a few days ago, either) yet I realize they are absolutely needed at the moment. The problem is less wanting something specific which you can very well research...

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

I'd prefer if the term "monster" would go away altogether, especially when applied to any remotely intelligent race. Even if they are mostly evil.

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

It is not the stereotypes in themselves doing harm. It is the sad fact that a lot of people do not see them as they are and will transfer what's in the game back to the real world, and the fact that most GMs do not point out these things and just run with whatever misinterpretation there is. I...

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

What specifically is your issue with Al-Qadim? Not so long ago that I ran a game there and we didn't run into anything overly bad. It is a very harmonic place, where the different species/races are mostly in harmony.

Pathfinder 1E Stuff That You Wish Paizo Had Done For Pathfinder 1E?

I would have liked them to continue putting out products for both, as 2e is a game I do not like. I can still use their adventures and world descriptions but still. I use a lot of 3PP stuff, including from Jon Brazer Enterprises. We have a bunch of adventures from there, too, which I yet have to...

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder 1.5 rumblings: Corefinder

I see no reason, really. Sticking with PF original is easy enough, and I convert 5e or PF2 campaigns on the fly,as always. 5e to me is for one shots.

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

My worlds can be gritty, and bad, and violent, and unfair... like the Midnight setting. And many are not, they are more positive, and some are in the middle. It all depends on what the players want. Maybe they want to rise a society out of evil. Or maybe they want to be the bad guys for once. All...

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

Ability score boni are totally fine. GMs can always allow changes. Advantages/traits are also good, best when players have several choices.

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

Yeah definitely. Companies also need to be aware that it is not necessarily true that the same person who is good at spotting hidden gender related issues will also be good at spotting culturalism/cultural misappropriation etc. Or cover them from all angles. So someone might catch a veiled...

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

Yeah... promises. I've seen them so many times from so many companies whenever some unrest happens. I believe it when I see it, and when it is more than just a token POC to justify their claims.

D&D General WotC’s Official Announcement About Diversity, Races, and D&D

I am not that impressed. It feels like they are just jumping on the train. And much of it is unnecessary. What about hiring a few non-white folks instead?

Pathfinder 1E Age of Worms VTT maps?

Yes several people did, although not for the whole AP. You might have to puzzle them together. Here are some. The Mad Mapper - Age of Worms: 'The Whispering Cairn' The other guy I got maps from seems to have vanished, but if you google a while you might turn up more.

    D&D and the rising pandemic

Yes they have, down to less than 30'% in my area and less than 10% where I used to live. The virus has also saved about 10k people in China alone who would usually die during the season due to air pollution, mostly people with asthma and obstructive pulmonary diseases. I can't find the source...

    D&D and the rising pandemic

The virus has killed less people than the flu so far and has, at least in Europe, prevented many flu deaths due to the isolation rules. Maybe we should distance more every flu season. If not for the lockdowns,we would have a lot more deaths and dying though. I'm classified as high risk due to...

D&D General What Compels YOU to a new RPG?

I do not need any more new rule systems. I am tired of spending time to learn yet more rules. Iike new settings though, so I am more likely to buy something not meshed with a rule system.

    On Behavioral Realism

Hehe in my world, there is a lot less good vs evil, most people are neutral and this group has a very good reason to be together, that is, preventing an ancient undead evil no one else believes in to return.

    On Behavioral Realism

Luckily, most of my players behave like normal people (of their race) would do. So you may find the goblin and the kobold, and maybe the wood elf, camping outside the city, but the rest would happilypay for an inn.
