i think str isn´t needed , ´cause the "new" pally is a classic tank... he need not do lots of damage but just bind the enemy... with enough teamplay with rogues and such his damage source will be the radiant damage from his marking ability... the ddxp pregen halfling pally doesn´t do much damage...

congratulations for entering the fray... i was pessimistic as well... untill i saw all those nifty improvements they seemingly made... again , welcome to the family.. :D

could be both , but i think it´s been reworked because of being too powerful... the ddxp pregen controlled the battle in tight spaces too much IMHO

the monsters in kots don´t have surges...

i think the +5 to poison means indeed that the save is made at 5+... and lay on hands may be used a number of times equal to your wis mod and it´s one creature target , including the paladin... knocked prone and slowed are desribed in the dm rules in the adventure book....

BLASTS AND BURSTS The five types of powers are: area, melee, close, ranged, and personal. Melee and close powers do not provoke opportunity attacks. Area and ranged powers do. [Unsure about personal, but it's a pretty safe bet that they do not provoke.] Area effect attacks can still damage...

1) it means that short range is 10 squares and long range 20 squares , which implies a -2 to hit modifier 2) nothing stated in the book 3) look at the diagrams in the PrRC....

it´s intended for 5 characters and 5 are included...

although i got mine today i haven´t got the oppotunity to dm it till mid-june... but my players want to keep their ddxp pregens without much modifying...

maybe using the rules you have difficulty remembering more often than the easy ones... and btw i only play once a week at most.. sometimes it´s once a month and i can remember most rules nonetheless.. maybe memory training works.... ;)

lucky guys... here in Berlin , germany its not on the shelves... but amazon.de confirmed its delivered to customers already and another online shop (a cheaper one) is hauling it too... i´m sooo jealous not to be able to go to my flgs and buy one on monday...

i always ask non-dm types not to read monster manuals and they don´t do it... there´s another dm in my group and we circulate dming and the only other player whos gonna have a mm has a weak memory , so he probably won´t remember even the tiniest bit of info on a monster,,,

i preordered on amazon and cancelled when a friend told me about another online retailer that´s about 33% less... 53€ instead of 75... that´s 82 dollars instead of 116...

i also preordered long ago , although from a different seller....and it´s the english books because the germen versions cost almost double

i think the cards or die roll are for the dm to create the challenge not wich skills the players are told to use...i never give away dc´s or the skills needed...

maybe a silly question... but how do i do these in a post... or any other smilies??
