did anyone notice the 3rd language the half-elf has? the others only got 2...i think...

i´m also switching and counting the days till release.... when me and a pal first saw the some tidbits , mainly the ddxp chars and the monsters and more doc , we were excited... and with each coming preview and all those creative , calculating and inventive people here , it´s never been so much...

right now i´m almost doing it the way you described , but with more monsters per encounter , i think i will take a big box with partitions in it to store my minis... as for the tiles i only bring those i need and lay out exactly those the characters could see with their lightsources... really...

a question btw... if i preorder do i get these books the day they appear on the store shelves?

my players were also concerned about playing pregens , but after the first session didn´t want to change anything about their picked char.... and that´s withut an official adventure.... so i plan to play this one with the ddxp pregens... if the ones provided by kots aren´t way cooler... but...

last time i told my players "let´s get finished with our 3.5 campaign" after playing a few 4e demos with the pregens they yawned and told me they´d never again play 3.5 , so i should not bother with endeing the campaign.... just get a 4e campaign put together.... and i wanted them all to die...

especially if it´s new pregens and how those battlemaps are like....

i think what utility powers are for... we´ve already seen utility spells in the lvl 10-16 spell scoop.

i like it too. and i think they really took the concept from magic. before there was this wording and keywording of cards , they could easily misinterpreted (at least a few). same was true for 3e. (i had lots of arguments about rules wordings) now i look forward to much less fuss about some...

i´ll give you reply after the session. and untill now the players were very well suited for all encounters i threw at them... probably cause they´re better strategists than me...

in other game systems you can be interrupted in your rest for a few minutes without loosing the benefit of the rest... and a few mins should actually suffice for a wandering monster. i think that if you get a total of 6 hours in a 8 hour rest guard shifts should not be a problem. thats how i...
