The DMG appeared at my desk on Monday, followed by the PH yesterday and the MM today. That's right...first-bound s, hot off the press, real full-color hardback 4th Edition rulebooks, sitting right here in front of me. In nine days, it will have been three years since this odyssey began. Unbelievable. I can't wait to start playing D&D with real books. Believe me, printouts covered with red marks get old fast. I know that y'all still have six weeks of waiting, and I empathize. But today, I revel without shame. ROLL INITIATIVE!

I will boycott 4e! until I have it.
I will boycott ExxonMobil! until I need gas.
I will boycott McDonalds until I'm hungry for a cheesebuger.

I too will boycott 4e, but only until I have H1: The Keep on the Shadowfell, at which point I will read lots o' 4e goodness, but probably still not play. In fact, I will go so far as to say I will not make up any 4e characters (with stats and powers, at least) until I have the Player's Handbook in my hand, or until the SRD is published online, whichever comes first.
