Need a Dungeon Like Forge of Fury

It's not a dwarven stronghold, but makes a pretty good adventure for the level2-3 range... my group really enjoyed 'Mad God's Key' from Dungeon Magazine #114. It starts with some urban romping and ends up delving into a Cairn. Not as expansive of a dungeon as Forge of Fury though.

    Things you would gladly buy...

I'm sure this has been done before on ENworld, but I'm too lazy to look. :) What are things you would gladly buy that you haven't found the book for yet? (Maybe some of them already exist and the kind folks here can point us to them) To kick it off... Societies & Factions Break this...

    Charles Ryan on Adventures

I'm just a consumer of all these products. When 3.0 came out, my group looked at the books, shook our heads and went home and played 2nd Edition. Somehow Tome & Blood didn't make us feel any more impressed than the 2nd Ed Complete Wizard Handbook did. When 3.5 came out, we "felt" different...

    Must...get...Perform..up

Nymph's Kiss from Book of Exalted Deeds will give you +2 on charisma skill checks (and more skill points too). This is a powerful feat though and should run through a DM for it to be taken.

    Charles Ryan on Adventures

This thread's pretty entertaining... it validates that folks are almost never happy! Lots of people look for a reason not to like something - whether it's your job and you think to yourself how much better it would be to start your own company and not have to be forced to compromise quality for...

    Most useless book ever?

I'm so happy to see so many people picked Deities & Demigods. I normally eat up any information on deities, but this was a HUGE disappointment. I dropped in on eBay a few weeks after owning it and realizing Complete Divine added more value. I get more mileage out of 2E Monster Mythology than...

    Charles Ryan on Adventures

I have seen countless instances of folks in the 30's crowd "coming back" to the game. Most of us have a pretty full work week and are heavily nostalgic when it comes to gaming. Money is really not a factor in purchasing back some of your youth. If you look at the 'classic campaign arcs' on...

    Opinions on the non-PHB races?

For the most part I cringed at the addition of new races to the game. When I first saw the Illumians and Raptorans I thought to myself those will NEVER see any light in my campaign. I am honestly probably a purist, but have bent my own personal code and brought some of these races in. I was...

    Campaign Wikipedias

A while back I built a hosted application (on a dedicated box at a colo) to manage all of my campaigns with the intention of running a sort of hosted 'campaign manager' where people could sign up. Essentially like Wiki but with more structure (i.e. assigning a character to a player in your...

    Good 1st level modules

I second Mad God's Key from Dungeon 114... this is a GREAT entry level adventure with the optimal mix of urban and dungeon adventuring.

    Erik Mona's WOTC project

Considering all the $$ I've dished out on eBay for Marklands, Player's Guide, Ashes, CoG Boxed Set, Slavers, some Gord books... A nice fat collectible GH hardcover is something I would gladly drop $150 in a heartbeat and buy Christmas copies for all my players. No joke! Hmm.. It might be...

Are there any 3/3.5 Adventures that don't suck?

I've recently run both Forge of Fury and Speaker in Dreams for my group. Both ended up working really well, but I did some good retrofitting for both before I ran them. I dumped Forge into Greyhawk (in the Lortmils) and gave the party a mission to free a captive I place there (a lot of...

    "Slavelords" conversion?

I'm in the same boat (in fact its how I found these forums). Any chance if the request isn't too stale that someone could point me to where I could find a 3e or 3.5e conversion for this module as well? It's taking FAR too much time for me to do it myself...
