Really! I always thought Practiced Spellcaster did not apply to a Warlock. The EB is a SLA not a spell. Being a SLA, EB cannot be boosted by Spell Penetration but it can be with ability focus. Thats the way my DM's have all rulled it.

This is exactly why my group does not allow couples to play in our group. Every single time we've had a couple in our group, there has been some instance of preferential treatment. No matter if its DM to player or player to player!

You might want to look at the Raptoran race out of Races of the Wild. If your game is going to have alot of dungeons then I suggest go Rogue; otherwise Scout. Personally I like the wilderness rogue variant out of UA better than the Scout.

Being threatened does not prevent a pc from expending his/ her psionic focus. As far as I can remember (don't have my books on me), expending your psionic focus is a free action. You should have already made the concentration check to gain the psionic focus in the first place.

Only real restrictions are must be published from a WoTC source. The DM is usually skeptical of anything from Dragon Mag.

Sneak Attack damage is never multiplied. It is only applied once per strike. Telling Blow simply allows a Rogue to apply sneak attack damage in situations where the Rogue is not flanking a target or the target is not denied its dex mod to AC. The target must still be subject to critical hits.

I agree totally, you can pretty much achieve the same thing with the Wilderness Rogue variant. I prefer this variant over the scout class as it is now.
