I'm not saying it's not personal preference. I just hate Paladins. They're the Clerics dumber older brother who likes to beat up/outright kill things that are different.

Wish there was a "use them in some of my games, not others" option, because that's what I do. I have one DM who prefers them, and another who prefers typing up his own sheets. Both work fine for me.

Yes. This. The Paladin is the guy that calls the cops on your party when it's not even midnight. The Paladin isn't your friend. He's a religious sadist who looks to his god for an excuse to kill things. He is anti-fun. Get rid of him.
