    Essentials multiclassing playtest?

You're not trying hard enough. Most traditional virtues are associated with a vice if taken to an extreme. Pride and hubris. Love and lust. Zeal and fury. Valor and bloodthirst.

    Essentials multiclassing playtest?

Hybrid binder is slightly better than full binder because the pact boon works better with a melee class. Hybrid vampire being better than full vampire is fine because it makes it a viable addition to a party. Hybrid cavalier aura is fine because the mark punishment is just not that good...

Compendium, character builder, support the hobby, fruitless hope of the eventual character visualization and virtual table.

Final Character Theme Article Up: Heroes for Hire

Guttersnipe is worrisome. The encounter power is (in general) better for huge hulking heavily armed types, and the level 5 benefit screws with the intended wealth balance. Every party should have one guttersnipe to handle all of their finances.

How do you feel about the only-general-feats direction of D&D?

Racial feats that modify racial powers are good. Racial feats that are just because are irritating. 80% of the characters I want to play end up being tieflings just because of their feat support.

    Hybrid only game

All of them. He'll be str/dex, so he can use melee and ranged. He'll be using ki focuses, so he can just get expertise with that and have a plethora of mundane weapons.

With that array, you also might want to switch up your at-wills. Ardent strike heavily ups your defender capability, and commander's strike allows you do do some striking if your allies are built for MBAs. I'd keep strike of hope as it helps your leader function. I'm not sure hybrid talent for...

What does the Artificer, Seeker and Runepriest need?

Given the general consensus on swordmages being a bit underpowered, smushing them with artificers might not be a terrible idea. Of course, a shielding swordmage with static shock is a bit scary.

What does the Artificer, Seeker and Runepriest need?

Coincidentally, you could make decent characters using a shifter runepriest, warforged artificer, and a wilden seeker

    Casters Suck? Please explain.

At second level, my wizard sits at +8 vs. will. (+5 int, +1 staff expertise, +1 accurate staff, +1 1/2 level.) If we actually had magic items yet, it would be +10 (+2 from a +1 staff of sleep and charm). Even as is, I typically hit on a roll of 5 or better.

    Why I Hate Tokens

I prefer minis for heroes, tokens for monsters. It just makes it easier to distinguish what's what. For multiples of the same monster, I usually change the hue on the image.
