Checking Out The RAGE OF DEMONS Minis from GF9

I love these miniatures! I bough the red dragon and had a friend assemble and paint it. I'm gonna collect these, at the least the large, iconic ones. Love, love, love the Demogorgon miniature!

    D&D 5E Observations

My players have yet to figure out how powerful the Great Weapon Master feat is, but Polearm Mastery is incredibly strong. The fighter with a polearm has been ripping the enemies to shreds. It does seem like a much stronger feat than many (most?) of the others.

OUT OF THE ABYSS Has Derro - Check Them Out!

Are these all the new creatures in the adventure? We're not getting stats for the demon lords?

D&D 5E Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide: Player Content Guesses

Do you guys think there will be a few new feats? I know feats are optional, but it would be cool to see at a least a sprinkling of new feats (somewhere between 5-8).

Check Out This Sneak Peek At OUT OF THE ABYSS

The art is otherworldly and truly makes her look alien and intimidating. I LOVE THAT! In my opinion, The Abyss should have alien / weird looking evil fiends and The Nine Hells should have classic devil-type creatures.

    D&D 5E New DRAGON+?

The "Rage of Demons" ad features some new miniatures from Galeforce Nine: Graz'zt and Zuggtmoy! I really want those. This was a really cool issue of Dragon+. Marketing done right.

D&D 5E Gen Con is in full swing: Anyone seen Out of the Abyss?

The demon lord postcards look very cool. I love the artwork, it seems like a different style than the artwork in 5E. I can't wait for the adventure.

D&D 5E Gen Con is in full swing: Anyone seen Out of the Abyss?

So, I think (suspect?) that Wizards were supposed to show off Out of the Abyss at Gen Con. At least parts of it. Did anyone get the adventure? Did anyone play parts of the adventure? Are there more details?

    D&D 5E GenCon Loot

Most likely not. They just announced the Sword Coast-book. They are handing out stickers, etc. at the convention. I just hope we get to see early Gen Con-copies of Out of the Abyss.

    D&D 5E GenCon Loot

I could see a copy of Out of the Abyss, but I hardly believe they would start handing out the Sword Coast-book this early. Is there even an all-access pass for D&D this year? Are they doing anything at all, except previewing organized play?

D&D 5E MUSING: An Evergreen, static Fifth Edition...

I would continue playing 5E, but I would be disappointed that we wouldn't get more worlds: Darksun, Planescape, Greyhawk, etc. Not necessarily rules, but source books filled with wonderful art of strange worlds that inspires me to make my own.

    Five new feats: Please critique

Sorry about the laziness on my part, instead of saying roll twice I just said Advantage, even though you are correct: It just applies on d20 rolls. Anyway, your write up matches my intentions 100%. Do you think it would be a worthwhile feat? Too weak? Too strong?

    Five new feats: Please critique

New feat: BACK AGAINST THE WALL You become terrifying when the odds are stacked against you. When you have half your hit points or less remaining, you have advantage on damage rolls in melee combat.

Daze? I don't think there is a dazed condition in 5E like there was in 4E.

    Five new feats: Please critique

I could use some help with this feat. How would you guys make a feat like this? I'm not sure about the DCs. PIT CHAMPION You have experience battling in pits, arenas or similar public fighting venues. You gain the following benefits: * Increase your Charisma or Strength score by 1. * If...

D&D 5E Feats: Do you use them? Are they necessary?

The players in my campaign love options that allows them to customize and develop their character concepts. As a DM, I never have to care about feats in the sense that NPCs and monsters don't use them. So as long as the feats are not overpowered and players who don't care about feats can pick...

    Five new feats: Please critique

Can you give me some pointers? The only class feature I found was the monk's Stunning Strike, but that ability does allow the target a Constitution save to negate the effect. There are no stunning effects in the feats section. I take it when you say that there are a lot of abilities that stun...

    Five new feats: Please critique

Getting an 1d4 bonus on attack rolls with the weapon you would almost always use and there being no restrictions; that's incredibly strong. It would maybe be the best feat in the entire game. You would get an average +2.5 bonus to hit, every time. It would be extremely relevant every roll. The...

    Five new feats: Please critique

Thank you for the very detailed feedback! A lot of people don't like the 1 automatically becoming a 10. I think I'll follow your advice and allow the player to reroll a 1 instead and must take the new roll, even if it's another 1. I don't like restricting it to once per short / long rest, as I...

    Five new feats: Please critique

Thanks for the feedback! You're not the first person to think that this bonus is overpowered, but I just don't see it. The ability to treat a 1 like a 10 is only relevant on 5% of all rolls. You also have to use your reaction to do it. Why do you think it's overpowered?
