It's a great dungeon and easily adaptable to many different settings. I ran it back in the 3E days and set in in Greyhawk. Ran it just a few weeks ago with my 5E group and it was in Chult. Everyone had a blast both times around.

How does combat work? The fighting the horde rather than the individual is intriguing but I'd like to know more.

Good ideas! Thanks! In my Chult, the Flaming Fists are led by a Yuan-Ti imposter. The players discovered this but decided they were fine with it. Could make a trading alliance interesting.

I'll have to check that out. Since my Chult is practically overrun with Yuan-Ti imposters, it sounds like the basic storyline would be a good fit.

Do typographical issues count? The index font in the Player's Handbook is so small it is almost unusable.

Why are spell levels and caster levels not aligned? In other words, why do I have to use a chart to figure out what level spell I can cast? At first level, a caster should have access to first level spells. At second level, second level spells. And so on. Seems a needless legacy of older...

Why was "mad monkey fever" changed to "blue mist fever" in Tomb of Annihilation?

One thing I just remembered. We didn't have a battlemat back in my late 1980s and early 1990s campaign. What we had was a huge piece of graph paper that we put beneath a piece of plastic that served as a wet-erase board. So we drew on that. It worked better than the battlemats I have now.
