    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Wildshape

And Greater Magic Fang is for all natural weapons too right? Yikes, that's icky.

    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Wildshape

Yikes, that's not the typical druid is it? I always saw them as something of a nature savant, not a drooling ape rending it's way to victory....

    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Wildshape

If a Druid is 11th level he can wildshape into a dire ape right? He'd get all the apes physical stats, 2 claw attacks at full BAB, 1 bite at -5, and Rend right? And he'd get this all for 11 hours? The Druid really is a combat monster.

    Rend, what bonus to damage?

How do you figure out rend damage? Is it 1.5x str or 2x str or does it depend on the monster? Grey Renders, trolls, Girillions, etc are all 1.5x str but Dire Apes have 2x str. They're the only 2x str ones that I know. Is it wrong or is it just that the Dire Ape is different then all the...

    The Swashbuckling Rogue

You can munchkin the hell out of the feat chain, that's for damn sure. You can get the same AC as magical plate and shield without worrying about plate and shield. So you could effectively be a monk in plate and shield or a greatsword weilding barbarian who retains 40ft movement and two hands...

    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Edition is Great !!!! But.....

It's too bad that the internet can't capture the flavor of sharing a bag of chips over the gaming table and sticking Pizzas in the oven at 1am. Otherwise it'd be totally awsome to play over the internet for a few hours.

    The Swashbuckling Rogue

Has anyone used those armor feats and dex is damage bonus feats? Are they balanced or do they horribly wreck the typical tank? Lets say a 1st level human fighter took all 3 of those armor feats (by my calc he could unless some prereq's are missing) and he had a 16 dex he'd have an AC20 at...

Help me break in my 3.5 books! (3.5 Q&A)

How about Reincarnate? I saw the description on the compiled thread but it wasn't too clear. Is there one big list of random things to be reincarnated as or is it two seperate lists, one of humanoids and one of animals? Does it give you ECL's? As an extra special treat could you perhaps give...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Tower Shields [3.5]

Why is +4AC and -2 to attack a great improvement? It's the same as using a normal shield and expertise combined. It's a nice benefit, but not that great. Are there any feats coming that maybe negate or reduce that penalty?

    Disease and Poison Attacks

Depends for the disease. If there is a "bad room" that anyone going into has a chance of catching a disease. 2 PC's walk through it and 1 of them stops to lick the floor (won't worry about why) one should have a harder time of making the save. But by the rules I'd say it's only once for...

    half-ogre

To explain a bit better my opinion. I think it's marginally better but ECL+1 is still the best choice. It's definately not a 2! Look at Half-Orcs, and look at Dwarves. If you figure humans rate at 100 for perfect balance then Half-Orcs and Half-Elves are probably around a 80 and Dwarves...

    half-ogre

It's one of those 'on the verge' races that are crazy powerful if you powergame it, but if you're just creating fun characters to walk through the dungeon with then it's not that great. Want stats? Fine. I rolled 15, 14, 14, 14, 13, 13 and the DM let me swap 2pts in one stat for 1pt in...

Divine Sacrifice w/ temp hp and Demon summoning

I would assume they're useable like regular HP. No different then taking damage really IMHO. I haven't heard anything official but who cares? It doesn't make the spell any better then regular healing or anything. I've always had summoned creatures stick around. It doesn't require...

    half-ogre

I believe in 3.5 it'll only change to fit the wearer across size boundries. IE, large platemail will fit all large creatures, but you can't make pixie sized platemail and give it to an ogre and expect it to resize. At least that's what I assumed. The 2x, 4x cost was wrong, I was going off the...

    half-ogre

I thought they were overpowered too until I actually played one. They're really not all that great though. A 10x10 facing kind of stinks for manuvering in combat and I draw more AO's then I should. Reach isn't a huge factor because my dex is so low it doesn't pay to take combat reflexes...

Does your group use a DM Screen?

I leave it up during the exploring phase, and occasionally during battle. But with a large dangerous battle I almost always put it down. The players can then see the rolls that nail them and I can see the battlemat without standing up.

What world do YOU play in?

Kalamar, which wasn't an option. However it's heavily edited. In fact I took a small portion of the world and detailed it pretty well and the PC's have pretty much stayed within 100 miles of the start point from 1-10th level so far.

WotC site is blocked at work.

    D&D 3E/3.5 Aasimar 3.5

I read somewhere that Aasimar got a slight boost in 3.5, maybe making them worthwhile to play as a +1 race? I know they have daylight instead of light, any other changes?

Help with a new Cleric in Forgotten Realms

Okay, I've never played in Forgotten Realms yet but we're starting one on Sunday. I'll be playing a 1st level Cleric and I know the type of guy I wanted to be, but I don't know the diety I want. I wanted War and something as a domain, and I wanted my guy to be both lover and fighter... :)...
